Virgin Galactic x Under Armour takes sportswear to new heights

These gears help push the limits of human performance

If you’re a big adventure fan and a fitness enthusiast, you can’t miss this collaboration which features futuristic innovations. 

To celebrate the success of the Virgin Galactic spaceflight last July 11, 2021, Under Armour, the uniform maker of the Unity 22 and English business magnate Richard Branson, is releasing a limited-edition collection featuring sportswear inspired by the flight. Bringing spacewear to the masses, the Virgin Galactic x Under Armour collaboration features gears in black and blue colorways with materials made of Under Armour technologies such as Rush and Recover items. 

Rush items like the leggings sport mineral-infused fabric which absorbs and reflects heat back to improve endurance. These items also include mesh panels for strategic ventilation as well as anti-odor technology which prevents growth of odor-causing microbes. As for the Recover items, these feature patterns inside the fabric that returns infrared energy to the body to restore muscles faster. These also possess ultra-soft knit fabric with a smooth exterior and a plush interior that gives the right amount of warmth.
