MICHAEL B. JORDAN AND COACH SHARED IMAGES FROM THEIR S/S19 CAMPAIGN
Coach has proven to have the knack of picking just the right celebrity to be its ambassadors. First, Selena Gomez who, health and relationship issues notwithstanding (plus her questionable musical talent), continues to be one of the most followed personalities online, and now, Hollywood’s golden guy Michael B. Jordan. Middle of last week, the Creed and Black Panther star shared on his Instagram page one of the images for his Coach campaign, which was shot by photographer Craig McDean:
The gig is a big deal, as MBJ is the label’s first global ambassador for its menswear line; he is also said to be the face of Coach’s upcoming men’s fragrance collection.
The spring/summer 2019 campaign features some of Coach’s iconic pieces reimagined, as well as the season’s hero bags (a.k.a. totes for men).
ADIDAS DEBUTED ITS CHINESE NEW YEAR-INSPIRED SNEAKERS
Chinese New Year is coming soon—it’ll be on February 5—and adidas couldn’t help but take inspiration from the upcoming start of the Year of the Pig. Available in silhouettes such as the Yung-96 and the Superstar, the brand’s latest sneaker models come in red and gold, the colors of the Chinese New Year to symbolize happiness and luck. The Yung-96 comes with additional neon details on a red and white base, while the Superstar keeps it minimal with its gold branding.
VETEMENTS GOES INTO MOBILE ACCESSORIES WITH CASETiFY
Vetements has collaborated with phone case brand CASETiFY to create iPhone cases. Crafted in vegan leather, the pieces come decorated with visual graphic stickers of dogs, dragons, flowers, and an embossed Vetements logo. They come available for iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone 8.
