Kanye West’s outfit at the Balenciaga couture show is a mood

During the presentation of Balenciaga’s 50th couture collection that streamed live today, fashion editors and spectators were quick to notice an obscured Kanye West sitting front row. The American rapper was wearing what seems to be a black version of the Yeezy x Gap puffer jacket, which dropped last month. Could this actually be part of the collaboration?
In a post by Business of Fashion, Kanye was photographed with Cedric Charbit and Francois-Henri Pinault at Demna Gvasalia’s first couture show for Balenciaga. Aside from the all-black outfit, Kanye sported a printed scarf, black Nike socks, and Adidas Yeezy foam runners.
Netizens had mixed reactions to the outfit with one saying, “The legend of our times.” One commenter suggested confusion as to the point of the look, while another said that it could basically be anyone since his face was totally covered.
