Authored by couturier John Galliano and built from Zara’s memories, Re{form} turns familiar wardrobe archetypes into something altogether new
Zara and couturier John Galliano are rewriting the rules of the high street with Re{form}, a new creative partnership built around one idea: “Authored by Couturier John Galliano. Built from our Memory, Made for Now.”
Launched on October 2, 2026, the collection marks the opening chapter of John Galliano’s exchange with Zara’s archives. Rather than simply creating new pieces, the designer looks back at the brand’s familiar archetypes and reworks them through techniques traditionally associated with haute couture.
The result is a genderless collection of garments and accessories that feels both recognisable and slightly unruly. Classic shirts, tailoring, dresses, knitwear and accessories are deconstructed, reconstructed and given new proportions, materials and identities.
Re{form} is, as Zara puts it, an act of revolution, reconstruction and renewal. It takes the memories embedded in Zara’s wardrobe and pushes them somewhere more unexpected, proving that even the most familiar fashion codes can still be pulled apart and made new.
And with John Galliano behind the needle, “new” was never going to mean subtle.
