Troye Sivan is playing both sides
With sharp tailoring and dramatic tulle, Troye Sivan gives Erdem’s masculine-feminine tension a spin
Troye Sivan served an androgynous look at the 2026 Music Video Awards, stepping out in Erdem’s spring-summer 2027 look 40, featuring a tuxedo with tulle and satin draping, finished with an ostrich pannier. The result? Masculine structure with a decidedly feminine flourish.
The look comes from a collection inspired by the push and pull between femininity and masculinity, creating a delicious tension between the two. And Troye wore that tension beautifully.
With its romantic femininity and intricate textile craftsmanship, Erdem’s signature aesthetic proved a natural match for Troye. Stylist Marc Forné brought the look together, balancing the sharpness of the tuxedo with the softness and drama of the draping and pannier.
This isn’t their first collaboration. Forné previously styled Troye for his “Something to Give Each Other” tour and his joint tour with Charli xcx. Once a model himself, Forné transitioned into styling and has since worked with names including Manu Ríos and one of pop’s most fashion-forward stars.
