Why the CMF Clip Pro is so satisfying to play with
It clips, clicks and turns listening into a surprisingly tactile experience
There’s a particular pleasure in using something that feels good in your hands. The satisfying click of a camera button, the turn of a watch crown, the weight of a well-made pen. The CMF Clip Pro taps into that same instinct, bringing a little more tactility to something we usually just pop in our ears and forget about.
The obvious star is its Smart Dial, built right into the charging case. Turn it to adjust the volume, press to play or pause, or use a couple of clicks to skip tracks. But the dial is only part of the charm.
The earbuds themselves use physical buttons, while their open-ear construction wraps around the ear rather than sitting inside it. A remarkably thin 0.5 mm titanium wire gives the clip its flexibility, designed to adapt to the shape of your ear while retaining its form.
Then there are the details you notice once you start using them: 10.8 mm dual-magnet drivers, Ultra Bass Technology to bolster the low end, LDAC support and up to 32.5 hours of total listening time with the case.
None of this is particularly complicated. That’s the point. The Clip Pro takes a familiar piece of everyday tech and gives it things to touch, things to click and a silhouette you can actually see. In a sea of earbuds designed to be forgotten, that feels rather refreshing.
CMF Clip Pro is available starting September 4, 2026 at Digital Walker
