One of the best-selling lines of Montblanc is the Full Calendar collection. As we go about a new cycle around the sun, the Star Legacy Full Calendar receives a new movement too as the line gets updated for legibility, improved performance, and a more user-friendly setting. 

Montblanc’s Star Legacy Full Calendar, which used to have four pushers for calendar setting, now only has two. The watch now boasts a wider moon phase aperture, better legibility of the day and month, improved power reserve of up to 50 hours, and water resistance of up to 50 meters.

Nowadays, we heavily rely on date and time to make us go about our daily lives. Possibly one of the most important inventions of all time, watches like Star Legacy Full Calendar, which can track time, days, and months, back to the earliest civilizations makes an elegant and significant tool for life. 

Impeccable craftsmanship

Aside from taking inspiration from human inventions of time measurement, The Montblanc Star Legacy Full Calendar also takes design elements from historical Minerva pocket watches from the 19th and 20th centuries, which were used by railway companies and their timekeepers to ensure safe train operations. 

To the moon and beyond

Coming in three new models, the updated timepieces feature 42mm stainless steel cases with straight horns and steps on the side. The correctors have been set to two rather than four to set and adjust the time easier.

For the watch dials, the aesthetic design codes indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds which are all combined with the day, date, month, and corresponding moon phase.

In addition, two models come with Roman numerals and blue leaf-shaped hands, while the third reference is adorned by rose gold-coated Arabic numerals with matching leaf-shaped rose gold-colored hands. As for the straps, a stainless-steel bracelet iteration comes with the Roman numeral version while a choice of stainless steel or blue Sfumato alligator leather strap are available for the other models.
