Packed with vitamins and vegan-friendly ingredients

Finding the right grooming and beauty products perfect for us and our skin type is a game of hit and miss. Now, more than ever, with local and international brands competing in the market, it is easier for us to try which ones would work and which products hit the mark.

If one of your skin concerns is dullness, there are brand newly launched products in the market that specifically promise to illuminate the skin. Meet Bioten’s Skin Glow and Vitamin C line, a set of products that guarantees youthful glow and healthier skin.

Bioten is a brand of the Sarantis Group, which was established back in 1930 in Europe. Here in the Philippines, it is being distributed by iFace Inc., which also carries the most sought-after international beauty and wellness labels like Neutrogena, Listerine, Str8, and Bio-Oil.

So, what makes the Bioten Skin Glow exceptional? During its launch last June 22 at Whitespace located along Chino Roces Extension in Makati, Bioten introduced the new must-have product line with actress Nadine Lustre.

Bioten Skin Glow Line

The Glow Line boasts of 10 potent brightening ingredients including niacinamide, centella asiatica, camelia japonica, matsutake mushroom, mulberry, paper mulberry, green tea, apple fruit, rhus semialata extracts, and glucosamine, which actively works for a luminous glow. Aside from these mystic ingredients, the vegan-friendly products are also enhanced with vitamin B3 to strengthen the skin’s barrier for a healthier and less irritated skin.

As for the products, the Bioten Skin Glow line includes a velvety mousse cleanser, a soothing toner, a supercharged serum, a lightweight day cream, and a satin-feel night cream.

Bioten Vitamin C Line

For the Bioten Vitamin C line, which is once again inspired by nature, the line is packed with potent antioxidants that not only brighten the skin but also helps with production of more collagen for repairing damaged skin cells due to daily stressors.

The Vitamin C line includes a day cream and a night cream, both with 100 percent natural orange and lime extracts, and anti-aging ampoules which contain, at 5 percent, a powerful complex of Vitamin C and a brightening amino acid.

Hazel Lee, senior brand manager for Bioten

Aside from promising better skin, Bioten also aims for a better future for the environment. “Bioten will continue to innovate and harness the power of nature but at the same time, strive to develop ways in which the brand can truly be sustainable,” said Hazel Lee, senior brand manager for Bioten. “Bioten will also always walk the talk. In a few years, we’ll be able to complete our 88k Trees advocacy but we will definitely not stop there.”

Bioten’s brand ambassador Nadine Lustre is raising funds for 88,000 trees to aid the 20-year reforestation project for the Aetas of Yangil, Zambales through For The Future, and Make a Difference (MAD) Travel.

The partnership will be helping the project reach its goal of cultivating 3,000 hectares of Aeta ancestral domain, which will help enrich the livelihood of the tribe and the environment itself.

“I believe I have a responsibility to the next generations—I will do what I can to raise awareness for a more sustainable future, as well as take concrete action. I begin here—with raising funds for trees. I hope everyone will join me in doing this,” shared Nadine.

Bioten Skin Glow and Bioten Vitamin C are available at Watsons, The SM Store, and online on Amorfia and Lazada.
