WATCH: Vtmnts spring-summer 2023 collection is all about equality

With lots of layers and midriffs to match

Gone are the days when designers only hire models who they can just fit into a certain look. A lot of designer brands nowadays embrace the models’ uniqueness and match it to the brand’s ethos.

Vtmnts latest runway presentation is all about embracing one’s true self and wearing what one wants regardless of the norm. Designer Guram Gvasalia booked a spectrum of models who he dressed up irrespective of gender.

Key looks on the runway included layering of outerwear, from hoodies to jackets and long coats. Another theme in the collection featured cropped tops exposing the models’ midriffs and hot pants highlighting the models’ thighs.

Layering of shorts and pants also materialized on the runway as well as thigh-high boots made with either leather or metallic materials.
