Nigo brings back Kenzo Takada’s archival print for new collection

Featuring fresh drops this summer

Nigo pays tribute to Kenzo Takada’s legacy reviving the late designer’s poppy flower motifs for his final spring-summer 2022 capsule collection.

The emblematic poppy archive print of red flowers with green stems were once again seen blooming for men’s and women’s collections. Nigo gave a contemporary twist to the archetypal print applying it on more modern silhouettes.

The spring-summer collection featured a unisex all-over print Hawaiian shirt plus coordinating shorts and skirt. Also seen on the campaign were t-shirts in white and black with the poppy print seen either on the back or the chest pocket. An all-over print scarf also materialized as well as navy shorts but with a yellow flower instead of red.

The iconic poppy print featuring the red flower with green stem was notably seen on the bottle of Flower by Kenzo eau de parfum launched in the year 2000. Collection dropped May 6.
