After the cancellation of the Met Gala last year due to the pandemic, this year’s event has finally happened with the theme, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.”
There were a number of notable celebs who set the red carpet on fire like Shawn Mendes in his Michael Kors leather blazer and bare chest, A$AP Rocky’s quilt from ERL, and Troye Sivan’s Joseph Altuzarra, Rick Owens, and Cartier ensemble. One particular style star who stood out (again) on the carpet was Timothée Chalamet.
Timothée went for an all-white look mixing and matching a white tuxedo from Haider Ackerman, Rick Owens pants, Cartier brooch, and hi-top sneakers from Converse. On his Instagram story, the actor showed off his sneakers together with fashion designer Harris Reed’s boots which are also of the same color palette. See a screenshot below:
