‘Eternals’ first official trailer is here

We can’t wait for November!

Earlier this month, Marvel Studios previewed upcoming films via a trailer for the cinematic universe’s Phase 4. It included a glimpse into the much-awaited “Eternals” movie featuring an all-star cast including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.

Today, May 24, 2021, the studio released the first official trailer of “Eternals,” giving Marvel fans much to look forward to until its November 2021 big screen debut. Watch the trailer below:

What is it about? Manila Bulletin Lifestyle states: “Before the screen adaptation, Marvel fans first enjoyed the ‘Eternals’ as a comic book in 1976. The comic book tells the story of a “race of god-like beings locked in a millennium-old conflict with the less evolved Deviants and their originators, the Celestials. Each Eternal has watched civilizations burgeon and die from their domain of Olympia. They are immortals blessed with strange, sometimes monstrous, powers.”

“It looks like the movie will stick close to the gist of the comic book, only that the movie will take place in the post-’Endgame’ universe, according to Marvel Studios. The film’s synopsis says that for so many years, the Eternals have been living on Earth in incognito, not until a catastrophic event forces them to come out of the shadows to fight mankind’s most ancient enemy, their darker counterpart, the Deviants.”
