Chinese singer-songwriter Cai Xukun headlines Prada’s Linea Rossa spring-summer 2021 campaign

The brand’s iconic red line gets a new twist as Prada fronts the sport of skating and riding for the new campaign.

Filmed and photographed by visual artist Martine Syms, the Linea Rossa campaign stars world-famous Chinese singer-songwriter and rollerskater, Cai Xukun, together with skateboarder Briana King, actor and skateboarder Rachelle Vinberg, and BMX rider Austin Augie.

Cai Xukun better known as Kun debuted as a member of Swin and its sub-unit SWIN-S back in 2016. His solo work includes single “Wait, Wait, Wait,” which gathered multiple awards in 2018 and 2019. He was also a part of South Korean-Chinese reality show “Super Idol” and participated in reality survival show, “Idol Producer.” This year, Kun announced the release of his solo album that has exceeded 1 million reservations after two hours of release, making him the fastest artist to do so in 2021.

Prada’s latest collection features silhouettes both body-hugging and free-flowing, celebrating the energy in movement. Both men’s and women’s wear share palettes of white, gray, and black highlighted with the iconic red Linea Rossa logo. The collection consists of 78 items in total for both sexes which includes sweatshirts, bermuda shorts, jackets, leggings, vests, raincoats, trousers, and few accessories like sunglasses, socks, and sneakers in polyester, techno-knit, and nylon fabrics that are thin, lightweight, and waterproof.
