Gavin Green is a rising star in the world and is poised to become one of Asia’s most exciting golf talents for years to come. In just his third year as a professional, Green has continued to impress aficionados across the globe. Halfway through his sophomore season on the European Tour, the 26-year old golfer has already amassed three top-10 and six top-20 finishes, including a 5th place showing at the Belgian Knockout. With the 2019 Race to Dubai chase heating up this summer, Green has risen to 50th in the year-long ranking.

After turning professional in 2015, the long-hitting Malaysian became the first from his nation to take the Asian Tour Order of Merit title in 2017. Green earned his maiden Asian Tour victory at the 2017 Mercuries Taiwan Masters, adding three second place finishes in his run to the season-long Order of Merit crown. Green has already earned the distinction of the highest ranked Malaysian in the history of the Official World Golf Rankings, blazing a trail for his countrymen.

In 2019 he also played on his first national team, representing the winning US Presidents Cup team and breaking into the world top-10 for the first time.

He won his first PGA Tour Event at the 2018 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, and continued into the 2019 season with his win at the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide. Cantlay turned professional in 2012 after holding the record of 54 consecutive weeks at number one in the amateur rankings, and representing the United States at the 2011 Walker Cup.
