I don’t think denim will ever go out of style. While it does get updated, restyled, or dyed every season, it’ll forever be a fashion staple.

With SM’s latest denim collections, there is a wide variety of cuts, fits, and colors to choose from: There are the dapper denim choices from SM Men, the trend-forward styles of SM Youth, fashionable picks from SM Woman, and an adorable array of denim from SM Kids. Punchy colors and streetwear subtleties mark the collections, which are inspired by three themes: ’90s Kids, Blue Times Two, and Color Me Denim.

With the ’90s as possibly the golden age of denim, ’90s Kids translated the era’s penchant for punk into jeans, jean jackets, and all other possible iterations of the fabric. The denim collection offers straight leg pants in different washes that are perfect for pairing with boxy jean jackets. Add to the mix another ‘90s signature: vibrantly color-blocked striped tees, sweaters, and shirts.

For Blue Times Two, SM went for the Canadian tuxedo, a.k.a. denim on denim. Though a traditionally tricky outfit, it becomes easier to translate with the Blue collection’s jean and jean-like pieces that allow you to go over-the-top without actually going overboard. Case in point: A patched button-down shirt in multiple denim shades, light-washed denim jeans with jean stripe overlays, and vintage graphic tees in blue.

There’s no room for boredom in Color Me Denim, a lineup of deep-hued denims matched with saturated brights in the form of shirts and vintage-looking athletic outerwear. If you’re trying to veer away from the classics, dyed denim pieces also come in yellows and deep reds. Match them with similarly colored tops and bottoms for a well-coordinated look.

SM’s latest denim collection is now available in all branches of The SM Store nationwide. Select denim pieces will be on sale for up to 50 percent off until July 31.
