Where to head when you’re hangry but don’t really know what to eat

It’s a frustrating conundrum: feeling both the pangs of hunger and the uncertainty of which dish will hit the spot.

That’s because food shouldn’t just be filling; it should also be satisfying, and satisfaction for the palate means enough diversity of flavors and textures to continuously titillate the mind and excite the taste buds. That’s why it makes no sense to have a minimum of five samgyupsal spots located within a one-kilometer radius.

Thank goodness then for places like The Food Hall, where the demands of hunger is respected. Relaunched last week, it continues to offer a world-class buffet within a simple food hall setting—this time bringing some of the most popular restaurants in the metro under one roof: Pound, Flatterie, Hook, and The Grill.

With all four restos well-represented, expect a great selection of seafood (from Hook, now exclusively available at The Food Hall), burgers (from Pound), Italian dishes (from Flatterie), and steaks (from The Grill). Indulge in one “food group” if you feel like it, especially with The Food Hall exclusives Barbecue Pork Belly from Flatterie and the P680-worth Flat Iron Steak from The Grill.

Or, even better, enjoy The Food Hall’s fixed lunch sets that are now available on weekdays:

The Pomodoro Pasta and Pound Sliders combo, Php285
Spicy Salted Egg Prawns, Caesar Salad, and garlic rice combo, Php365
Asian Chicken Salad, Crunchy California Roll, Dynamite Salmon Skin Roll, Classic Margarita Flatbread, Pesto Pasta, and Winglets combo, Php995

To round up a meal, there is a variety of desserts to enjoy, including The Food Hall favorites OMG Lava Cake and The Bomb, which is a white chocolate dome (homemade chocolate brownie, banana, and dulce de leche ice cream cake) poured with melted salted caramel sauce.
