Style Spotlight: Timothée Chalamet on his Oscars stumping route

We all have that friend who puts up “poetic” posts about Call Me By Your Name at least once a day on Facebook and/or Instagram. And they all have a serious Timothée Chalamet problem.

Well, we can’t blame them. Despite his initial missteps in handling his decision to work in the latest Woody Allen film, especially in the era of #TimesUphis form of reparation for said missteps deserves a slow clap, BTW—Chalamet is charming. Plus, he’s young; the discussions he had to have with his management (and maybe his conscience) while on his first major campaign for an Academy Award is just a very public version of growing pains, and we can only hope that he learns from it.

As the 22-year-old actor stumps for a Best Actor Oscar, he displays quite the dapper style on the red carpet. Yet as well-put together as his looks have been, no one forgets that Chalamet is still in his early 20s. Being the muse of designer label Berluti’s creative director Haider Ackerman certainly helps, but Chalamet’s ease with trendier details, such as high-waisted trousers and a stylishly disheveled coif, is all his own. One thing he keeps constant? Working with his slim, slight frame

The following are our picks for the actor’s best red carpet looks.
