BENCH X PHILIPPINE DESIGNERS POP-UP STORE

Bench ushers the way for Philippine fashion and craft at Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo. Local talents and winners of the Bench Design Awards, designers RJ Santos of Randolf Clothing, Jaggy Glarino, and Jenni Contreras, showcased their collections at a fashion show held on October 29.

Tokyo locals also got the chance to shop at Bench’s pop-up store at Laforet Harajuku from October 16 to 23. The store featured items from the three designers of the Bench Design Awards, Renan Pacson, Ken Samudio, and Seph Bagasáo.

 

CONVERSE WHITE CHUCKS PARTY

In their Forever Chuck campaign, a part of celebrations of the 100 years of the Chuck Taylor All Star, Converse highlights the undying youth that the brand has embodied since its birth.

This week, Converse held a party with guests shod in classic white Chuck Taylor All Star pairs and in their most fashionable garb–because what can you not wear with an all-white Chuck Taylor All Star?

Social media and TV personalities also walked the ramp, looking street-smart in Jeffrey Rogador’s JR | XX Philippines collection and, of course, all-white Converse pairs.

BENCH UNDER THE STARS SHOW EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW

PENSHOPPE’S “I AM DIFFERENT” CAMPAIGN

THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM’S ALL HALLOWS’ EVE BENEFIT

The Metropolitan Museum of Art held its inaugural All Hallow’s Eve event for the benefit of The Met’s General Fund. In partnership with Dior, The Metropolitan Museum of Art featured a theatrical performance by Third Rail Projects for its guests, followed by an evening of cocktails and socials.

 

LOUIS VUITTON’S VOLEZ, VOGUEZ, VOYAGEZ EXHIBIT IN NEW YORK
October 27 | New York, USA

Louis Vuitton’s Volez, Voguez, Voyagez exhibit that shows the founder’s oldest travel trunks and bags, as well as stories of Maison Louis Vuitton from 1854 until today, has arrived in New York. The exhibition had been in Paris and Seoul before reaching the Big Apple, and is projected to travel to more cities to feature the story of the designer house.

Volez, Voguez, Voyagez is available for viewing until January 7, 2018 at the American Stock Exchange.
