DOMENICO DOLCE AND STEFANO GABBANA’S TOY COLLECTION
September 5 | Milan, Italy

In between designing collections for the many editions of Fashion Week, the two heads of Dolce & Gabbana treated their patrons to another collection, this time with toys. Available at La Rinascente Duomo in Milan, the toy collection features a mini-version of the two designers, their cats, and their puppies, so you could recreate scenarios of their everyday lives. What we think is lacking? A miniature of the two of them in their best D&G suits, of course!

PIERRE BERGÉ DIES AT 86
September 8 |  Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France

The fashion industry lost another visionary with the passing of Pierre Bergé this week. A known art collector, Bergé was the spouse of designer Yves Saint Laurent. He also co-founded the latter’s designer label and was the business eye of the YSL brand. Bergé was also known to have been highly critical of the industry and the people who worked in it.
